Taking place annually in Munich, Bits & Pretzels is a multi-day festival for 5,000 founders, investors, and startup enthusiasts. Our vision is to enable founders to shape a better future through innovative ideas and technology. Bits & Pretzels started in 2014 as a small founders breakfast with 80 participants and quickly developed into Europe's leading founders festival. Our audience of enthusiastic founders attracts some of the most inspiring personalities year after year: President Barack Obama, Jessica Alba, Reid Hoffman, Richard Branson, Dirk Nowitzki, and many more have attended Bits & Pretzels in the past years. With our annual festival, we want to support, connect, and inspire founders who drive positive change in Germany, Europe, and all over the world.

Start munich is munich's largest independent student initiative focused on entrepreneurship. Start munich was founded in 2003 with the goal of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation among students. The organization has roughly 250 members who come together to learn, network, and collaborate on entrepreneurial projects. Through a lively community, events, workshops, and active department work, start munich helps students develop the skills and knowledge they need to turn their ideas into successful ventures. Whether you are just starting out in entrepreneurship or an experienced founder, start munich provides a supportive and dynamic community for students to grow and succeed.
