Already live: the platform, and businesses use it every day. With our team you refine and extend the UX, hand in hand with product and engineering. Seven pilots already work in it. You never start from zero, you build on real progress and help shape an AI startup from the inside.

What you’ll do

  • Refine platform-wide UX and components so every flow feels intuitive and fast.
  • Build intuitive, performant flows from concept to launch.
  • Improve speed and usability: load times, responsiveness, the small things that make a product feel premium.
  • Own a feature end to end, from design to a deployed component used by real pilots.
  • Work closely with the AI side so KAI’s results land convincingly in the UI.
  • Write component tests and maintain code quality across the frontend.

What you bring

  • CS Master’s (ideally TUM CIT) or similar. Solid coding skills, please share your GitHub.
  • Independent and product-minded: you want ownership of real user flows, not a backlog of tickets.
  • AI-assisted development is a must: Claude, Codex, GPT, Gemini or similar, it is part of the daily work.
  • Solid in TypeScript and React, with an eye for clean, fast UI.
  • You care about the details: spacing, motion, accessibility.
  • English or German fluent.

  • You sit side by side with the founding team.
  • Honest deal: this is unpaid, but you gain real ownership and startup experience most roles never offer.
  • Backed by EXIST, TU Munich and UnternehmerTUM.
