Who you are
You are a Master’s student in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field, currently enrolled at a university in Munich. You’re motivated to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world startup environment and are eager to gain hands-on experience alongside your studies. With strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, you enjoy working in a team and are comfortable contributing up to 15–20 hours per week.
What you’ll be doing
As one of our first working student hires, you’ll support both product and engineering tasks while developing your skills in modern full-stack development.
Take ownership of small projects in either backend or frontend, with support from the team
Backend: build APIs, model data, work with NestJS/TypeScript
Frontend: craft React components, integrate with backend services, optimize user experience
Collaborate with product and engineering peers on design, testing, and feature development
Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions
Contribute up to 15–20 hours/week, flexibly arranged around your studies
Tech at a glance
TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, React + Tailwind, RTK Query, LangChain, AWS, Kubernetes
Must‑have skills
Experience in at least one of:
NestJS + TypeScript (REST or GraphQL, API design)
React + TypeScript (hooks, component architecture)
Strong communication and collaboration skills in English or German.
Nice‑to‑have
Curiosity or experience around AI: LLMs, LangChain, Embeddings, RAG pipelines, Vector DBs.
Interest in prompt engineering or fine-tuning.
Experience working in agile teams or startups.
