Senior (Full-Stack) Software Engineer

We’re a Munich-based start-up, currently in stealth working out of a robotics incubator, with launch planned for the end of the year. We’re building a new kind of consumer electronics game. We are redefining the physical interface gap, bridging real-world-experience with the power of digital, making it feel like one seamless experience.

We’re a dynamic, young, energetic team of engineers building a really cool product; hands-on, something to play with, something to learn with, not another B2B SaaS. And yes, we have a fully working demo-unit; not just an idea, but a full-scale demonstrator.

The only problem is, we’re two mechanical engineers, and vibe-coding only gets you so far. Therefore, we’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to own the end-to-end software stack: from working with the embedded systems and real-time data processing, to backend services for game logic and connectivity, to the user-facing app that brings gameplay to life. That means you get to mix UX from a hardware and software perspective, as well as turbocharging the backend to bring players a new edge.

What you’ll do:

  • Design full-stack architecture for a new tech product in the consumer games segment
  • Work on embedded system integration + real-time data processing
  • Implement game logic, create algorithms and increase connectivity
  • Optimisation for performance, latency, and reliability at scale
  • A sprinkle of UX development through design of web and mobile app

What you’ll need:

  • Multi-year software development experience, and be architecturally minded
  • Strong understanding of backend dev, cloud infrastructure and edge-computing
  • Experience with real-time, IoT, low-latency setups and with using one major cloud provider
  • Understanding of privacy and compliance requirements
  • Bonus: have bootstrapped a consumer product software module

What you’ll get:

  • Competitive salary and equity-vesting
  • Flexible corporate benefits
  • High degree of decision freedom
  • Work and grow with a young, dynamic team
  • Be a part of games-tech history
