WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As part of our Anti-Financial Crime Operations team, you will take on a specialist role within Third Party Requests / Authorities Operations. While the majority of standard requests are handled by our L1 operations team, you will focus on complex cases, edge cases, escalations, special authority communication, quality assurance, and operational guidance.
You will play a key role in ensuring that sensitive authority matters are assessed, organised, executed, documented, and communicated with the highest level of accuracy and professionalism.Your responsibilities will include:
- Handle edge cases, internal escalations, urgent authority matters, and cases requiring enhanced operational judgement
- Take ownership of special or sensitive written communication with German authorities, ensuring responses are precise, professional, and appropriate to the request
- Support the L1 operations team by providing guidance on case handling, request interpretation, documentation standards, and escalation criteria
- Perform quality checks on selected L1-handled cases and identify recurring mistakes, process deviations, or training needs
- Support queue organisation, prioritisation, backlog reduction, and follow-up tracking for authority-related workflows where specialist input is required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to formulate clear, professional, precise, and legally appropriate responses in German
- Very high attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with sensitive legal, regulatory, and customer-related information
- A structured, reliable, and execution-focused working style, combined with the confidence to take ownership of complex operational topics
- Ability to support less experienced colleagues and provide practical guidance to an L1 operations team
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage urgent, sensitive, or high-volume authority-related requests
- C2 German language skills are essential, especially due to frequent written communication with German authorities and public institutions
