Founding Engineer (AI + Geometry / CAD)
Software Engineering, Data Science
neoBIM is building buildOS: software for architects and builders, written from the AI up. Gen already turns a site boundary into code-compliant building options and exports them to Revit, IFC and PDF. Next is a new BIM authoring tool, built from scratch for AI agents.
The founders have done this before. Moritz Luck co-founded Enscape, the real-time renderer architects use inside Revit and Archicad. Dr. Jonathan Ingram is a BIM pioneer. Our product lead used to run Vectorworks.
We're looking for one or two engineers who can do a bit of everything. You know AI and you know geometry. You've worked with CAD (mechanical CAD counts), you build with LLMs and agents every day, and you get productive fast in whatever area needs you this week. There's no CTO yet, so the right person can grow into that seat.
What you'd work on
- The geometry and data core of a new BIM authoring tool
- Agents that plan and edit real building models
- Generative design that respects building codes and each client's constraints
What we look for
- You've shipped production software. One or two years is fine if you've been building your own things since school. More is better.
- Real work with 3D geometry or CAD: geometry kernels, B-rep or meshes, CAD APIs, IFC or Revit
- You build with AI daily, not just on the side
- Startup or founder experience. Long careers inside big CAD companies usually aren't the fit.
- English. German isn't needed.
- Where you studied doesn't matter. What you've built does.
How we work
- Remote from anywhere in Europe, Switzerland and the UK included. The team sits in Karlsruhe, the UK, Spain, Montenegro, South Korea, India and the US. Slack for chat, Teams for calls.
- Stock options.
